Members of the police department are honored to recognize the Racine Community Foundation and the William and Yolanda Naleid Fund for their contribution to support various programs designed to bring police officers and the children of Waterford together in a positive way. Beginning in 2011, officers will implement Danger Strangers, a program that teaches children to avoid being duped by predators; Cops and Bobbers, a fishing outing with officers; Gutter Busters, a bowling event with officers and more.
For anyone who wishes to contribute to the efforts of the Racine Community Foundation, we have placed their link on our home page.
While we are recognizing our supporters, thanks go out to Runzheimer International for their annual contributions to our community efforts. Aside from monetary support, their employees get involved and they provide the use of their facilities.
Although many individuals have contributed in many ways, one anonymous person must be thanked for providing funding toward officers’ memberships at SNAP Fitness.
