Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting is a statutorily required meeting that must take place on the third Tuesday in April of each year, unless your electors have chosen, at last year’s annual meeting, to schedule it within 10 days after the third Tuesday in April. The Annual Meeting can never be held before the third Tuesday in April.

The Annual Meeting is not a town board meeting and it is not a meeting subject to the open meetings law.

Town government is special in that it is the only form of government in Wisconsin that requires that an annual meeting be scheduled for its electors.
