Although his official starting date is October 1st, Chief O’Neill has started the process of settling into his new role as Police Chief, and we are confident that his transition into this position will be marked by thoughtful leadership and a commitment to the values that make our community strong.
We recognize that acclimating to a new leadership position takes time, and we fully support Chief O’Neill as he begins building relationships within our police force, with our local leaders and the community.
As Chief O’Neill gets more acclimated to his new role, we are excited to see the future of our police department and the wonderful community we call home.
There will be a more formal Welcoming Ceremony at our October 13th Town Board meeting.
