Save the Date: Wisconsin Stormwater Week – September 19–27

The Town of Waterford is pleased to support Wisconsin Stormwater Week, taking place September 19–27. This statewide initiative raises awareness about stormwater pollution and encourages residents to take simple actions that help protect Wisconsin’s lakes, rivers, streams, and wetlands.

Throughout the week, residents will have opportunities to participate in free educational webinars and join a statewide Call to Action focused on improving water quality and preventing stormwater pollution.

Stormwater runoff can carry pollutants such as fertilizers, pet waste, grass clippings, oil, and litter directly into local waterways. By learning more about stormwater management and adopting pollution-prevention practices at home, everyone can play a role in protecting Wisconsin’s valuable water resources.

Additional information, event details, and registration opportunities will be available soon at:

Together, we can help ensure that only rain goes down the storm drain.
